From what age are children invited to join classes with Dance Dynamic School?

We invite children from the age of 18+ months to join our Little Bear Feet classes. These are an exciting mix of dancing, props and storytelling. From the age of 3, children are then invited to choose from a variety of different dance genres. We also have a great mixture of classes for adults!

 

Do you offer a trial lesson?

Yes we do.

• For our Little Bear Feet Classes we offer one trial class for just £7.

• For the rest of our children’s classes, we offer two trial classes for £12 which is a great way for your child to experience their chosen class, meet the other parents and children, and see how they get along.

• For our adult classes we offer two trial classes for £14.

• For Dynamic Barre Fitness you have the option of either booking a full term in advance or pay as you go.

 

What should children wear to their trial lesson?

Children can wear anything they are comfortable and able to dance in. For ballet classes we recommend ballet shoes if the child already has them. If not, trainers are absolutely fine and are recommended for all other classes. Long hair should be tied up.​

 

Are the teachers qualified?

Clare has gained her FDI and CDE qualifications in Tap and Modern and her DDI and DDE qualifications in Classical Ballet. She regularly attends both dance and business related courses to keep her training up to date. 

​Clare has an Enhanced DBS check, is fully insured, First Aid trained and is Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Nicola has her Exercise to Music and Barre qualifications. She is also fully insured.

 

How do I pay for the dance classes?

We invoice termly and send invoices before the term starts. You are able to pay via card or bank transfer. For our Dynamic Barre Fitness classes, you have the option of either booking a full term in advance or pay as you go.

When it comes to trials, once they are complete and if you decide to register for dance classes with us, we then invoice for the remaining weeks of term. 

 

Do you run classes during the school holidays?

We run our regular timetabled classes during school term time. However, we run an annual summer school each August where children work for 5 days to put together a performance for their families on the final day. We also run other holiday workshops during Half Terms and School Holidays.
